HEC of Pakistan has opened applications for an exciting opportunity for Pakistani students fully funded PhD scholarships under the US-Pakistan Knowledge Corridor Project. This program provides talented scholars a chance to study at top-ranked American universities and gain exposure to world-class research and innovation.
Strengthening Pakistan–US Academic Ties
The initiative is part of a long-term collaboration between Pakistan and the United States aimed at building strong academic links and advancing higher education in Pakistan. By supporting doctoral studies abroad, HEC hopes to develop a new generation of researchers, educators, and professionals equipped with global knowledge and expertise.
Generous Financial Support for Scholars
Under the program, candidates admitted to universities ranked among the world’s top 50 will receive complete financial coverage including tuition fees, a monthly stipend, and health insurance. Students securing admission to institutions ranked between 51 and 300 will be eligible for up to US$12,000 per year in tuition support, along with a stipend and medical coverage.
Application Deadlines and Process
HEC has announced two admission cycles for 2026. The deadline for Spring/Summer 2026 is November 15, 2025, while applications for the Fall 2026 session will close on April 30, 2026. Interested applicants can apply through HEC’s online portal at scholarship.hec.gov.pk.
