Sui Northern Sends Rs. 12 Million Bill to Gas Consumer in Rawalpindi

A gas user in Rawalpindi, Raja Allah Ditta, was shocked when he received a massive gas bill of Rs12 million from Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Limited (SNGPL). The unusually high bill has caused anger among locals, who blame it on poor management by the gas company.

Raja Allah Ditta, who lives in the Dhamial area, had not been able to pay his gas bills for the last four months. When he received the huge bill, he went to the local Sui Northern office to file a complaint. However, he says he was simply asked to pay the full amount without any help or solution.

In a video message that has now spread widely, Raja Allah Ditta explained that he cannot afford to pay such an amount and called on the authorities to take action.

Meanwhile, a spokesperson for Sui Northern has admitted that the bill seems wrong and said it might be due to a clerical mistake. The spokesperson also confirmed that the company has started a full investigation to find out what caused the error.

Sui Northern has promised that once the issue is properly checked, a corrected bill will be given to Raja Allah Ditta. The spokesperson assured people that the company is taking the matter seriously and will make sure that the customer does not suffer because of an error.

This incident has once again raised questions about the gas company’s billing system and its handling of customer complaints.
