Superior University has brought another international pride for Pakistan by gaining the Associate Membership of COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence (CCoE) for its agenda of academic excellence, research productivity & commercialization. The confirmation letter from the Coordinator General of the OIC Standing Committee on Scientific & Technological Cooperation (COMSTECH) has been issued. This membership makes a great recognition of Superior University’s focus on innovation and emerging technologies by developing its increased institutional linkages and regional networks.
COMSTECH is an effective representative platform of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) member states, where matters of mutual interest and areas of development come under consideration and joint initiatives get designed. The core mandate of COMSTECH is to strengthen cooperation among the OIC member states to enhance their potential in the realms of science, technology & innovation (STI).
Since there is a great need for significant advancement in the fields of IT, research commercialization, science, innovation and the emerging technologies in the OIC member states; thus the collaborative initiatives taken by COMSTECH are making a huge impact. These initiatives are sub-divided in the following programs:

Institutional Linkages and Regional Networks
It is pertinent to mention that Superior University has already achieved great milestones in the above mentioned areas by building strong institutional linkages through inclusivity and collaboration.
In a particular focus on research excellence, Superior University has introduced revised revised incentive policy for publications, hired PhD faculty, launched worth of millions ‘research impact fund’, started research colloquium series, developed strong research culture by holding annual international research conferences, improvising research policies and procedures and fully activating the Office of Research, Innovation and Commercialization (ORIC). Furthermore, in a quest to ensure academic excellence, curriculum and teaching pedagogies get improvised in accordance with the 21st century graduate attributes. 3U1M Program is one such perfect blend of theory and experiential learning which guarantees placements of Superior graduates. Learning, innovation and collaboration are the keys that Superior University is globally known for.
It is hoped that the honor of gaining Membership of COMSTECH Consortium of Excellence (CCoE) will widen the horizon for more impactful collaborations with the esteemed educational institutes in the OIC member states.
