The Suzuki Alto, one of the most popular Kei vehicles in the world, is about to enter its 9th generation.
Recently, leaked photographs of a new Suzuki Alto brochure surfaced on the internet, indicating the advent of the newest generation Japanese Kei vehicle.
So far, all that is known about the vehicle’s powertrain is that it will be powered by a naturally aspirated 660cc 3-cylinder petrol engine connected to a 5-speed manual or automatic transmission, with top-trim variants also getting a mild hybrid electric motor.
Also, the forthcoming Alto is boxier than the previous generation, unlike the newly introduced Suzuki Celerio.
The firm has yet to announce the official details of the Alto’s launch, although it is expected to happen before the end of the year worldwide.
