TCL Pakistan is facing significant backlash from customers over poor product quality and subpar customer service. Numerous complaints have emerged regarding defective smart TVs, particularly issues with panels, motherboards, and Wi-Fi connectivity.
These problems are exacerbated by delayed or inadequate repairs, leaving many customers frustrated and feeling neglected by the brand.
One customer shared their ordeal, stating that their TV developed panel issues within the warranty period. Despite multiple complaints and repairs, the problem persisted, with allegations that the original panel was replaced with a substandard one.
Further repairs left the device unable to connect to Wi-Fi, turning the smart TV into a basic television.
Another customer reported that their complaint about a motherboard issue was registered but not resolved for months. The customer expressed disappointment in TCL’s Karachi service center, where their TV remained unrepaired due to unavailability of parts.
Customers have also criticized TCL’s automated responses on social media, accusing the company of failing to provide meaningful resolutions. While TCL’s official page has acknowledged some complaints and requested complaint numbers, many customers claim that follow-ups have been ignored, with no resolution in sight.
These recurring issues have sparked outrage among consumers, who are demanding refunds or replacements. Some have even threatened legal action, citing the company’s failure to honor warranties and provide satisfactory customer service.
The growing dissatisfaction highlights the challenges TCL faces in maintaining its reputation in Pakistan, where customer service is increasingly becoming a decisive factor for brand loyalty.
