Teaching Holy Quran & Seerat-un-Nabi (SAWW) be Made Compulsory at Universities

Recently, the senate with one mind passed a resolution recommending to teach Holy Quran with translation, tajweed and tafseer should be made compulsory in all universities of all domains without including it in examination or provision of additional marks so that an individual would remained focused on acquisition of learning and knowledge.

While the upper house also passed a resolution to including detailed and comprehensive knowledge of the the Seerat of the Holy Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be upon Him) in the minds of the younger generations.

The resolution were passed by Jamaat-e-Islami Senator Mushtaq Ahmed, stating that the both were in queue with the constitutional provisions.

Another bill has been moved by the senate to further amend the State Bank Act, 1956 by a majority vote.

Sadiq Sanjrani senate chairman instructed members suspended by the ECP (Election Commission of Pakistan) to leave the huddle, on which they left.

The huddle was chaired by the Sanjrani.
