Infinix recently announced its entry into the high-end flagship smartphone market, claiming to have some of the fastest charging capabilities currently available. We now have a lot more information regarding the device.
The information appears to come from Chinese government sources, and it indicates that the smartphone would be known as the Infinix Zero X. While the name isn’t dissimilar to the company’s other products, it doesn’t explain what the “Now” logo on the back means.
According to the teasers, the Infinix Zero X flagship will feature 160W fast wired charging, which will be the greatest wattage seen on a smartphone on the market, surpassing the 120W fast charging found on the China-exclusive Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra and iQoo 7. The Infinix smartphone will also allow wireless charging at a rate of 50 watts.
We won’t know the battery capacity or charging time until later, so we’ll have to wait a bit longer to discover if it truly is the fastest charging smartphone. But, for the time being, it does, at least in terms of specifications.
