The National Bird of Pakistan is Chukar Patridge

The chukar partridge, which is Pakistan’s national bird, is a beautiful and tough bird that does well in the country’s varied landscapes. Belonging to the pheasant family, it is recognized by its unique striped feathers and its ability to live in rocky and dry areas.

You can spot chukar partridges in various parts of Pakistan, including Gilgit-Baltistan, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Balochistan, and Punjab. They are adaptable birds, comfortable at different elevations, from sea level to about 4000 meters in the mountains.
