Punjab Police has launched the ‘Karobar Aitemad App’ to assist people in tracing criminal records related to their employees’ and tenants’ Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs).
According to the law, anytime a citizen employs an employee or domestic help or keeps a renter, they must register them with the police so that the police can keep track of who is living and working in their neighborhood.
The new programme makes it simple for companies and landlords to register their employees and renters, as well as track their criminal history.
