This Airline Announces 361 Dirhams Flight Tickets from UAE to India

Travelers from the UAE bound for the Indian state of Kerala can now celebrate, thanks to Salam Air, the Omani low-cost carrier, which has announced the launch of new flights from Fujairah to Kozhikode, starting on October 2, 2023. On their website, the airline is currently offering a promotional fare of only Dh361 for this route.

Salam Air’s new service will come as a relief to Indian expatriates traveling to Kerala and neighboring states, who have been grappling with steep airfares. Commencing from October 2, flights to and from Fujairah, via Muscat, will be available on Mondays and Wednesdays. The flight takes off from Fujairah at 7.50 pm, landing in Kozhikode at 3.20 am, with a total travel time of six hours, including a layover in Muscat.

Another flight departing from Fujairah at 10.20 a.m. will have a layover of 11 hours and 10 minutes in Muscat, resulting in a journey duration of 15 hours and 30 minutes. Passengers on this flight have the option to spend a day in Muscat by applying for an e-visa online. Departing from Kozhikode, this flight leaves at 4.20 a.m. and arrives in Fujairah at 9.50 am after a 7-hour journey, with a 2 hour and 45-minute transit in Muscat. The ticket price for this option is Dh554.

The second flight departs from Kozhikode at 4.20 a.m. and lands in Fujairah at 7.20 pm, resulting in a total flight time of 16 hours and 30 minutes, including a 12-hour and 15-minute layover in Muscat. As part of its expansion strategy, Salam Air initiated four weekly flights from Fujairah to various cities in July, including Trivandrum, Riyadh, Bangkok, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Colombo, Jaipur, Karachi, Salalah, Lucknow, and Sialkot.
