This Incredible Moon Photo is Made By Stitching 280,000 Images

Astrophotographer Andrew McCarthy recently shared a remarkable image of the Moon, which he considers to be his most detailed yet. The awe-inspiring photo, exceeding one gigapixel in size, was created by combining over 280,000 individual photographs captured using two telescopes.

McCarthy took to social media to showcase the image and encouraged viewers to zoom in for an extraordinary experience. His tweet read, “I have captured my most detailed image of the Moon using two telescopes and over 280,000 individual photos.
