Toyota recently unveiled the 2024 Hilux Champ Pickup in Thailand, causing a lot of excitement in the automotive world. This new model offers different engine choices to suit various preferences.
The basic version has a 2.0-liter petrol engine with 137 horsepower, while a more powerful option is available with a 2.7-liter engine delivering 164 horsepower. There’s also a robust 2.4-liter turbo-diesel engine with 148 horsepower, making it capable of carrying up to 1 ton.
What’s cool is that the Hilux Champ is highly customizable. You can choose between two wheelbase options and a versatile two-door layout with either a bed or chassis.
Third-party car body builders are ready to help customize it in 10 different ways. Design-wise, the Hilux Champ has a modern look with boxy proportions, square headlights, and a stylish grille inspired by the iconic Land Cruiser.
After its debut in Thailand, Toyota plans to launch the Hilux Champ globally, targeting markets in Indonesia, Africa, and South America. It’s positioned as an affordable alternative to the Hilux, providing a great balance of performance and value for customers around the world.
