Polling booths have been set up in Islamabad as part of the final phase of Turkish presidential elections, and Turkish citizens are exercising their right to vote.
The Turkish Embassy in Islamabad has set up a polling booth for the second phase of the presidential election, according to the Turkish Embassy.
The second phase of voting will take place today and on May 21, with Turkish citizens exercising their right to vote.
Voting will be open from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
It should be noted that none of the candidates received 50% of the vote in Turkey’s presidential elections on May 14.
President Erdoan received over 27 million votes in the presidential election and finished first with 49.50 percent of the vote.
Kemal Kilic Daroglu, the opposition candidate, came in second with 44.89 percent of the vote.
With no candidate receiving 50% of the vote, the first two candidates will face off, and re-voting will take place on May 28.
Turkish elections were also held in Pakistan, and President Tayyip Erdogan was elected there.
