Turkish Defence Minister Yaşar Güler has praised PAF for its excellent performance during the recent four-day conflict with India. He said the PAF showed strong readiness and full commitment to protecting Pakistan’s airspace and national security.
The Turkish Defence Minister shared these views during his visit to the Air Headquarters in Islamabad. There, he met with Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmed Baber Sidhu and other senior officers.
During the meeting, both sides discussed important matters related to regional security and stability. They talked about how Pakistan and Turkey can further strengthen their defence ties and continue working together in different areas of military cooperation.
The discussions also included plans to boost collaboration in advanced aerospace technologies and modern warfare. Both countries agreed that such cooperation is necessary to deal with growing security challenges in the region and beyond.
Minister Yaşar Güler appreciated the professionalism, skills, and high morale of the Pakistan Air Force. He said Turkey values its strong defence relationship with Pakistan and wants to take it to the next level through joint training, technology sharing, and regular exchanges between their air forces.
Air Chief Marshal Sidhu thanked the Turkish Defence Minister for his visit and kind words. He said Pakistan looks forward to working even more closely with Turkey to build stronger air defence capabilities and develop new technology to meet modern defence needs.
