Elon Musk might lose the 75% of Twitter staff, with hundreds of employees resigning overnight.
An email has been routed by Musk to the remaining workforce of 3,700 recently and provided them a timeline till 5pm ET Thursday to either click on provided link and confirm their willingness to work ‘long hours at high intensity’, or can leave the firm with 3 months severance pay.
The employees who were willing to work have now been locked out of their offices till week.
It’s still not sure exactly how many have confirmed their resignation.
Fortune reporter Kylie Robison tweeted recently, ‘What I’m hearing from Twitter employees; It looks like roughly 75% of the remaining 3,700ish Twitter employees have not opted to stay after the “hardcore” email.’
She stated that the ones who stayed are around 1,000 and are hooked by their visas to stay in the country.
However, in the starting of the month, there were 7,000+ workers in the firm.
