The decision came after recent discussions between Pakistan and the UAE. Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, Ishaq Dar, met Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the UAE’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister, in Abu Dhabi last month. Both leaders agreed to make travel easier for government officials and diplomats by scrapping visa requirements for special passport holders.
