The Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security has now made it easy to modify residence visa details and get a new Emirates ID.
Customers can now change their residency data via smart online channels including the smart application and the website. Modifications in personal information, professional designation, current passport information, and nationality can be done via the online system.
UAEICP Smart Application
The online service can be assessed via the UAEICP smart application by the following steps.
- Log in to the system using a UAE pass or username.
- Now search for the service you need.
- Fill in the required application data.
- Pay the service charges.
Documents Required
Following documents are required.
- A colored personal photograph.
- A copy of the applicant’s passport.
- Copy of Emirates IS.
- Request to amend the data signed by the sponsor.
The application fee is Dh200 which can be divided into Dh100 for smart services, Dh50 for e-services and application, and federal authority fee.
Make sure the application and documents are complete, otherwise, the application can be rejected.
