Hong Kong is aiming to revitalize its tourism industry by offering 500,000 free flight tickets to visitors worldwide. After being closed to international travelers for nearly three years due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Hong Kong is now eager to attract tourists once again.
To win one of the several thousand round trip Air tickets, individuals from UAE, India, Nepal and Bangladesh can enter a lucky draw.
Cathay Pacific will distribute a total of 5,590 tickets to travelers in the region. To participate, interested individuals must register for Cathay Pacific membership on the Airline’s website. It must be registered before noon on May 28. Winners will be notified via email on June 7, and travel to Hong Kong can take place until March 6, 2024.
Hong Kong Tourism Board’s director for South Asia and the Middle East, Puneet Kumar, is quite excited about welcoming visitors. He says visitors will experience the city’s vibrant local culture, diverse culinary scene, immersive activities, and stunning natural landscapes.
The initiative is part of the Hello, Hong Kong tourism campaign, which also includes giving “Hong Kong Goodies” vouchers to one million visitors at Hong Kong International Airport. These vouchers can be used for complimentary welcome drinks, transportation, shopping, dining, and attractions.
