Recently, PM Shehbaz Sharif alloted counters for needy people who were unregistered with BISP(Benazir Income Support Programme) for the provision of flour bags (free of cost) at the distribution locations under Ramazan Package.
“A huge number of people, who are not registered with BISP, deserve free flour bags as they are also living below the poverty line,” he said while addressing media during his visit to a free wheat flour distribution centre in Rawalpindi.
He stated, NADRA and PITB (Punjab Information Technology Board) proposed a solution for non-BISP citizen and developing a system.
Via introduced system, he stated that deserving people who were not registered with BISP would now be able to avail flour free of cost from the separate counters after registering their names in the system.
