The Pakistani rupee (PKR) has recently depreciated up to 37 paisas against the US dollar as in the interbank currency market, according to the official documents.
According to the State Bank of Pakistan, the PKR closed at a value of Rs154.50 against US dollar, as down 37 paisas as compare to the previous close that was on Rs154.13.
However, on April 28, the Pakistani rupee had appreciated to the value of 152.95 against the US dollar, hitting the 22-month big hit this time.
The rupee has also recovered more than about Rs15 during the previous seven months since it had touched an all-time low value of Rs168.43 last year in the month of August.
