Veteran Pakistani actor and director Tanveer Jamal have passed away battling cancer. The actor had been diagnosed with cancer in 2016 and then he went to Japan for Treatment.
He was later diagnosed with the disease for the second time last year while he was shooting for the drama serial Mere Apne. It was then Jamal moved to Japan for the treatment of the treatment in May 2022 and even asked his fans to pray for his recovery.
In his fruitful career of 35 long years, Jamal has played key roles in prominent dramas including Godfather, Tasweer, and Teri Raza. The actor was renowned for his brilliant acting prowess and a career spanning over three decades.
He was also awarded the Outstanding Performance Award by Pakistan Television (PTV). Tanveer Jamal had initially earned a reputation through his acting and later he started direction and production as well. He started his production company in 1993
