Virgin Atlantic Airline Announces Flight From Dubai-London

Virgin Atlantic has announced the relaunch of its flight services between London and Dubai. The seasonal route will operate from October to March, catering to British residents seeking an escape from the gloomy winter. Four flights per week will be available for booking starting from June 7, with the first flight taking off on October 28 using the Airline’s Boeing 787-9 Aircraft.

Passengers traveling from Dubai will also have the opportunity to connect to Virgin Atlantic and Delta destinations in North America, including popular cities such as New York, Seattle, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, and San Francisco. The Boeing 787-9 Aircraft offers a range of seating options, including 31 upper-class seats, 35 premium seats, and 192 economy class seats. Additionally, each flight will have a cargo capacity of 20 tons.

This announcement follows Virgin Atlantic’s recent introduction of flights to the Maldives and the Turks and Caicos Islands. Rikke Christensen, the Vice President of Network and Alliances at Virgin Atlantic, expressed excitement about returning to Dubai and emphasized the inviting climate it offers during the UK’s cold winter. The airline had discontinued its daily Dubai service in 2019 but continued operations through its subsidiary, Virgin Atlantic Holidays.

Christensen also highlighted Dubai’s appeal as a premium sun destination, mentioning other destinations in Virgin Atlantic’s expanding network, such as the Maldives, Turks and Caicos, and the upcoming Manchester to Las Vegas route in summer 2024. With the flights going on sale from June 7, 2023, travelers can soon look forward to experiencing the vibrant city of Dubai, known for its souks, sand, and impressive skyscrapers.
