The International Cricket Council (ICC) unveiled the official anthem for the World Cup 2023 on Wednesday. The anthem, titled “Dil Jashn Bole,” aims to capture the excitement and spirit of this highly anticipated sporting event.
What makes it even more thrilling is that the anthem features the well-known Indian actor, Ranveer Singh. This anthem is a collaborative effort between Singh and the renowned Bollywood composer, Pritam.
Ranveer Singh expressed his honor in being part of this anthem launch for the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023. He described it as a celebration of the sport that everyone loves.
The ICC World Cup 2023 will be held in India, featuring 10 teams competing for the coveted title across 10 different venues. The tournament will run from October 5 to November 19, with the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad hosting both the opening match and the final.
The format of the Cricket World Cup involves a round-robin style, where all teams play against each other in 45 league matches. The top four teams will qualify for the semi-finals, scheduled for November 15 and 16 in Mumbai and Kolkata, respectively. These knockout matches, along with the final, have reserved days for flexibility.
