According to Prime Minister Imran Khan, the government plans to construct ten dams across the country by 2028.
Imran said the government is starting the Decade of Dams project while speaking at a ceremony in Peshawar after visiting the Mohmand Dam site on Wednesday.
He went on to say that the Mohmand Dam would solve the region’s water and electricity problems.
He said that previous governments had paid little attention to the poor class. He said that the PTI government is the first to prioritise the welfare of oppressed and neglected people by providing health cards and housing.
