Ten local meat processing companies have received licences to export to Egypt, which is a gain for Pakistan. Abdul Razak Dawood, Advisor to the Prime Minister on Trade and Investment, informed us of the progress. In a tweet, Dawood added, “This has been done as a consequence of an audit undertaken by the Egyptian Veterinary Authority.”
The following Pakistani companies have been approved: P.K Livestock & Meat Company (private) Limited, TATA Best Food Limited, Fauji Meat Limited, Al Shaheer Corporation Ltd, The Organic Meat Company Private Limited, Tazij Meat and Food, Abedin International Abattoirs (private) Limited, and Zenith Associates are among the Pakistani companies that have been approved.
