10 Year Old Boy Becomes Passport Officer for a Day at Dubai International Airport

On March 15, in honor of Emirati Children’s Day, 10-year-old Omar Saood Al Malih enjoyed a special day at Dubai International Airport. For this special occasion, Omar got to play the role of a passport officer, with the help of airport staff.

He learned how to stamp passports and understand the procedures for travel and verification. The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai (GDRFA Dubai) organized this experience to fulfill Omar’s dream.

Lieutenant General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, Director-General of GDRFA Dubai, said this event shows how they support children’s dreams and encourage their development. He added that Omar might even become a part of their team in the future.
