111-Year-Old Man Takes Title of World’s Oldest Man, Guinness World Records

John Alfred Tinniswood, a remarkable resident of Southport, England, has achieved the title of the world’s oldest living man, as recognized by Guinness World Records.

At an impressive age of 111 years, John’s journey spans over a century, witnessing significant historical events along the way.

Born in Liverpool on August 26, 1912, he has lived through remarkable times, including the sinking of the Titanic in the same year. Despite his age, John remains remarkably independent, carrying out daily tasks without assistance.

He stays updated by listening to the radio and manages his finances independently. When asked about the secret to his long life, John humbly attributes it to “pure luck.”
