PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi organized a grand lunch to appreciate over 1,500 workers who played a key role in completing the renovation of Gaddafi Stadium in just 90 days.

Naqvi personally met with the workers, shared a meal with them, and expressed his gratitude for their hard work. He praised their dedication, stating that the project’s success was only possible because of their efforts. As a special gesture, he invited them to watch the upcoming Pakistan vs. New Zealand match, calling them “the true heroes of the nation.”

The workers were deeply moved by this recognition, with many expressing their appreciation for Naqvi’s leadership. One worker mentioned that Naqvi regularly visited the site in the mornings and evenings, working alongside them to ensure the project stayed on track.

The event featured a lavish menu, including mutton qorma, chicken roast, beef pulao, naan, and desserts like zarda. Raita, fresh salad, and Kashmiri tea were also served, making it a memorable meal for the workers.

Pakistan’s white-ball captain, Muhammad Rizwan, also attended the lunch, adding to the excitement. His presence was warmly welcomed by the workers, who were thrilled to see a national cricket star among them.
