17-year-old Boy Dies After Falling From Ride At Karachi’s Clifton Park

Tragedy struck at Clifton Park in Karachi when a 17-year-old boy lost his life after falling from a swing ride. The incident occurred due to alleged negligence on the part of the park’s administration. Following the fatal accident, the swing ride was immediately shut down.

An investigation was launched by the police into the incident that claimed the life of Waliullah, a resident of Quetta who had come to Karachi with his friends for a picnic.

The incident serves as a grim reminder of a similar tragedy that occurred in July 2018, when a girl lost her life and 18 others were injured in an amusement park swing ride collapse near Old Sabzi Mandi in Karachi. The collapse left two women critically injured.

The incident has raised concerns over the safety of amusement park rides and the measures taken to ensure the safety of visitors.

The park management must take strict measures to ensure that such incidents do not occur in the future. Visitors to amusement parks should also be aware of the risks associated with these rides and take necessary precautions to ensure their own safety.
