20 Pairs of Shoes Stolen from Parliament House’s Mosque

At least twelve people, including some journalists, had their shoes stolen from the mosque at the Parliament House on Friday, according to a report.

After attending the Jumma prayers, worshippers were surprised to find that their shoes were missing from the mosque. It appears that the security guards who should have been present were not there when the theft occurred.

Authorities are now looking through CCTV footage to try to identify the person who took the shoes from the worshippers, including the journalists.

In light of the incident, National Assembly Speaker Sardar Ayaz Sadiq has taken notice and has asked for an investigation into the security oversight by the mosque’s security team.

The investigation will be handled by the Joint Secretary for Admin and the Sergeant at Arms. The goal is to find out how the theft happened and prevent it from happening again in the future.
