The 2023 Asian Games will happen in Hangzhou, China, and Pakistan is sending 222 athletes and 65 officials to take part in the sports event.
They have both male and female athletes who will compete in different sports from September 23 to October 8.Unfortunately, Pakistan won’t be able to participate in baseball and gymnastics because of a lack of money.
The Pakistan Sports Board (PSB) didn’t provide enough financial support for these sports, affecting their representation.
Also, Pakistan will miss the football and equestrian events as they didn’t submit their applications on time. They couldn’t meet the deadline set by the Asian Games organizers, which means they can’t show their talent in these two sports at the event.
Despite these setbacks, the Pakistani team is determined to do their best in the other events and make their country proud on the Asian sporting stage.
