25-Year-Old-Artist Creates Smallest Wooden Spoon, Breaks Guinness World Record

Shashikant Prajapati, a 25-year-old artist from Bihar, India, has achieved an incredible milestone by breaking a Guinness World Record. He has skillfully crafted the tiniest wooden spoon ever recorded, measuring a mere 0.07 inches. This remarkable achievement surpasses the previous record set in 2022 by Navratan Prajapati Murtikar from India.

Using precision tools like craft knives and surgical blades, Shashikant embarked on the challenge of creating a functional spoon from a single piece of wood. The result is a spoon that measures only 1.6 mm (0.06 inches). However, this journey was far from easy, as the stringent design standards mandated by Guinness World Records posed significant challenges. Undeterred by the obstacles, Shashikant demonstrated unwavering determination and resilience. After learning from ten previous attempts, he successfully crafted a spoon that met the record’s strict guidelines.

Shashikant shared his perspective on the accomplishment, stating, “Creating a wooden spoon is simple, but crafting the world’s smallest wooden spoon is a real challenge,” as quoted by Guinness World Records.

Shashikant’s journey into the realm of micro art commenced in 2015 during his first year of college. Motivated by his passion for intricate creations, he has set himself apart in his pursuit. Notably, he seeks recognition solely through his unique artistic expressions, solidifying his dedication to his craft.
