250 Hybrid buses to be operated in Sindh for better public transport.

Sharik Ahmed, the Secretary of Transport for Sindh, has stated that 250 buses will be operated in the province to improve public transportation.

In an interview with Radio Pakistan Karachi correspondent Sher Muhammad, he revealed this. The buses will run in Karachi as well as other divisional headquarters such as Larkana, Mirpurkhas Shaheed-Benazirabad, and Hyderabad, according to him.

The project is being launched with the financial support of the Asian Development Bank, and a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) has been signed with the National Radio & Telecommunication Corporation (NRTC).

He stated that the project’s first phase will see 50 buses operating in Karachi by the end of January next year.
