There is a possibility of 4 to 5 days holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr in the country.
The Cabinet Division has started working on holidays on Eid-ul-Fitr across the country.
A proposal to give 4 to 5 holidays for Eid will be given to the Prime Minister’s House, but a final decision in this regard will be taken by the Prime Minister next week.
If Eid is on Friday, then there is a possibility of holidays from April 20 to 23, while if Eid is celebrated on Saturday, April 22, holidays can be announced from April 20 to 24.
Secretary General of Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council Khalid Ejaz Mufti has said that a meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee will be held on Thursday evening to see the moon of Shawwal al-Mukarram.
The Cabinet Division will issue the notification after the formal approval of the Prime Minister. Meanwhile, the Ruet-e-Hilal Research Council has given the date of the sighting of eid moon in Pakistan.
