North of 600,000 individuals visited seven significant traveling places in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, the most part was Malakand and Hazara divisions, during five days of Eid, said the travel industry office.
The government of the province had declared occasions for the post-Ramazan celebrations from May 2 till May 6.
In a proclamation provided here on Friday, the department of tourism said the traveler information gathered by the police and Levies check posts, collaborator chief’s workplaces, Kaghan Development Authority, Galiyat Development Authority disclosed this on the main day of Eid, 24,140 individuals visited seven tourist destinations, including Upper Dir, Kalam Valley, Malam Jabba, Galiyat, Lower and Upper Chitral, and Kaghan and Naran.
As per it, 20,000 individuals went to Galiyat area on May 2 and 18,000 on May 3, while guests to Kaghan and Naran totalled 7,500 on the second Eid day.
