On the occasion of Independence Day, 696 Pakistanis and foreigners who have rendered outstanding services in various fields were nominated for various high civil honors including the Presidential Medal of Excellence.
It should be noted that the award ceremony for outstanding services in the respective fields will be held on March 23, 2024.
Saudi Prince Khalid bin Salman and Chinese Vice Prime Minister He Li Fung will be honored with Hilal Pakistan awards, while 26 people will be given Hilal Imtiaz, 18 Hilal Quaid-e-Azam, 19 people will be given Sitara Shujaat, 50 Sitara Imtiaz and 69 people will be given Hussan Performance Awards.
Other nominees for various awards include late nuclear scientist Hafeez Qureshi, writer Iftikhar Arif and hockey player Salahuddin Siddiqui.
299 health workers who sacrificed their lives during the Corona epidemic have also been nominated for civil honours.
