According to the Michael Page Talent 2021 survey, about 77 percent of technology professionals will voluntarily leave their current jobs and search for new ones in 2021. According to the report a lack of advancement opportunities, the opportunity for higher pay and better benefits, and underutilized skills are among the factors that would cause these professionals to leave their employment.
“Technical experts are in high demand right now. As a result, employers should consider remote and hybrid working models to broaden their applicant pool and attract the best talent, as per the report.
Because of the widespread adoption and migration to the cloud through public, private, and hybrid models, artificial intelligence and machine learning skills would be in high demand. Larger organizations are investing in automation and digital transformation, with an emphasis on Industry 4.0 in manufacturing.
The report further stated that average salaries in the sector will rise 15-25 percent from what they are now. The most prominent positions are cloud architects, full-stack engineers, and head of engineering.
