79 Prisoners to Appear in Karachi Matric Exams from Jail This Year

In a proposal to prevent unfair means, Board of Secondary Education Karachi Chairman Syed Sharaf Ali Shah demanded the concerned officers charge Section 144 of the criminal procedure code around the examination centres amid the matric exams.
SSC Part-I and II annual examination 2023 is planned to start on 8th May.
Shah said in a press conference that the board was requested to outsource the papers, but it is impossible for the body.
He claimed that the board asked the K-Electric to provide an uninterrupted electric supply in the metropolis during the examinations.
The BSEK chairman said the science group exams will be in the morning. At the same time, general exams will be held in the evening.
The BSEK chairman pleaded that over 0.39 million candidates would appear in this year’s examinations.
He said that 524 examination centres had been selected to ease the candidates. He said that 245 centres are set up for female candidates.
He said that 97 vigilance teams had been formed to observe and visit the centres during examinations and make them transparent.
Shah maintained that 19 hubs had been formed in different areas where the examination papers would be fascinating to the centres across the metropolis.
He added that as many as 79 prisoners would also appear in the examination from jail.
