81 Pakistanis among World’s Top 2% Scientists

81 Pakistanis have been included in a list compiled by Stanford University, USA, among the Top 2 percent of scientists worldwide.

It claimed that these 81 Pakistanis were included in the Top 2 percent of scientists worldwide for their Career Long Citation impact, while 243 Pakistani scientists were included in the citation impact in a single year.

Of the 2 percent researchers, as many as 11 teachers of Islamabad’s Quaid-i-Azam University (QAU) were counted. Also included in the list are 5 scientists from the University of Haripur (UoH), including its vice chancellor.

On the basis of an international review of their research papers, all these authors were chosen and graded on the basis of the career-long citation effect until the end of 2019 and their citation impact in a single year (2019).
