Between December 8 and 15, the Prophet’s Mosque witnessed a substantial influx of worshipers totaling 5,119,000, showcasing its significance as a revered religious site. The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Prophet’s Mosque played a crucial role in efficiently managing the pilgrimage experience. Notably, 501,938 visitors were guided to Prophet Mohammed’s tomb, and 235,341 devotees partook in prayers at the esteemed Al-Rawdah Al-Sharif.
Ensuring inclusivity, the Authority allocated specific areas for 15,295 elderly and special needs individuals, catering to diverse demographics. A testament to global participation, translation services were utilized by 87,446 people of various nationalities, fostering a sense of unity.
Beyond religious practices, the mosque served as a hub for knowledge and culture, with 13,584 visitors accessing the library and 4,783 engaging in exhibitions and museums. Communication channels, including phone services, were utilized by 8,638 individuals.
In a gesture of hospitality, the Authority distributed 111,600 bottles of Zamzam water, provided 92,992 Iftar meals, and bestowed 42,125 gifts upon worshipers and visitors. These comprehensive services exemplify the commitment to enhancing the overall spiritual and communal experience at the Prophet’s Mosque during this significant period.
