Government Allowed PCB to Sell Broadcast Rights of PSL

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has secured government approval to proceed with selling the broadcasting rights for the upcoming Season 9 of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).

In the past, the PCB had restrictions that required them to seek permission from the government for certain financial decisions.

However, with the recent approval from the government, the PCB is now actively engaged in the process of negotiating and finalizing the broadcasting rights for the PSL.

The technical aspects of the bids for broadcast rights have already been sorted out, and the decisions on the financial bids are scheduled to take place on Tuesday.

Additionally, the PCB will open bids for the digital rights of the PSL later in the week. This development marks a significant step forward in the organization’s efforts to manage and enhance the commercial aspects of the PSL, a popular cricket league in Pakistan.
