The “Golden Heart” initiative, spearheaded by Dr. Shamsheer Vayalil, the founder of Burjeel Holdings, stands as a poignant and altruistic endeavor marking the 50-year milestone of Indian businessman Yusuff Ali’s presence in the UAE.
Announced on New Year’s Day, this initiative seeks to extend a helping hand to children born with heart diseases, specifically targeting 50 youngsters hailing from conflict zones and underprivileged backgrounds.
As part of this philanthropic effort, Dr. Shamsheer, who is married to Dr. Shabeena Yusuffali, the eldest daughter of Yusuff Ali and Vice Chairperson of VPS Healthcare, will oversee the execution of free life-saving heart surgeries for these deserving children.
The surgeries will be conducted in specialized hospitals under the umbrella of Burjeel Holdings, encompassing locations in the UAE and Oman, as well as Dr. Shamsheer’s hospitals in India.
