Pakistan Needs Rs. 7300 Billion to Pay Loans: Ahsan Iqbal

Ahsan Iqbal, a senior member of the Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), criticized the founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for the tough economic times Pakistan is facing. Speaking in Narowal on Sunday, Iqbal stressed the urgent need to boost the country’s economy, mentioning the requirement of Rs. 7300 billion to repay existing loans.

During his speech, Iqbal showed worry about Pakistan relying too much on loans, saying, “The whole country is depending on loans.” He also mentioned that continuously borrowing money is not a wise decision.
