New EVs Coming? Nishat Group and LUXEED Sign Agreement to Bring Premium EVs to Pakistan

Nishat Group has signed a cooperation agreement with Chinese electric vehicle brand LUXEED to explore its entry into Pakistan, potentially adding more premium electric cars to the local market. The agreement was signed in Wuhu, China, on October 18, 2026, with support from Chinese automaker Chery Group.

LUXEED is a premium vehicle brand developed through a partnership between Chery and Huawei. It combines Chery’s vehicle manufacturing expertise with Huawei’s smart cockpit systems and driver assistance technology. The brand focuses on electric mobility, digital features, comfort and driving performance.

The agreement marks another step in Nishat Group’s expansion in Pakistan’s automotive sector. Through NexGen Auto, the group introduced OMODA and JAECOO vehicles in August 2025. It has also moved forward with Chery’s iCAUR brand, adding to its growing automotive business. Nishat Group has other major interests in textiles, banking, cement, insurance and energy.

For Pakistani buyers, LUXEED’s arrival could bring more choices in the premium electric vehicle segment.
