Pakistan Jumps to Fourth Position in Latest ICC World Test Championship Ranking

Sri Lanka’s impressive victory over Bangladesh in the first Test match has had a significant impact on the ICC World Test Championship 2023-25 standings, and it has also influenced Pakistan’s position in the rankings.

Following their commanding win by 328 runs, Sri Lanka has made a remarkable climb in the rankings, moving up from the bottom position to a joint-sixth place alongside Bangladesh.

This victory has provided Sri Lanka with 12 points from three matches, resulting in a points percentage of 33.33. This improvement places them ahead of South Africa, who currently hold a 25% points percentage, and England, who are at the bottom of the table with a points percentage of 17.50.

On the other hand, Pakistan has benefited from Sri Lanka’s win and has moved up one place in the rankings to fourth position. Pakistan now boasts a points percentage of 36.66.

ICC WTC Standings 2023-25

The West Indies, who share a similar points percentage with Sri Lanka and Bangladesh, have climbed to the fifth position due to a higher points tally.
