Samsung is upgrading its Galaxy AI feature through the One UI 6.1 update, which will be available on top models like the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Flip 5, and Galaxy Tab S9 line.
According to Nick Porter, Vice President at Samsung, this update aims to reach 100 million devices worldwide once it becomes widely available. It will bring new features introduced with the Galaxy S24 range, such as live translation, text summaries, AI wallpapers, and more.
When asked about plans to bring Galaxy AI to older devices, Porter mentioned that Samsung is still deciding which devices will receive it and whether they’ll get the full range of features or a tailored selection based on hardware compatibility.
