After a recent meeting between cricket star Shahid Afridi and PCB Chairman Mohsin Khan at Kakul, it seems like tensions between them are starting to ease up.
Shahid Afridi, who was removed from his role as Pakistan’s T20 captain after just one series, wasn’t happy with how he was removed and felt like there wasn’t enough communication from the cricket board.
Things got worse when PCB released a statement on their website expressing their full support for the current captain, Babar Azam, saying that leading Pakistan is a great honor.
According to Cricket Info, even though Afridi still feels like his concerns haven’t been properly addressed, he’s willing to move forward and put this matter behind him. PCB also admitted that they made a mistake in how they handled the situation.
