Mahnoor Ali and Mahwish Ali, both supported by the Bilquis and Abdul Razak Dawood (BARD) Foundation, achieved great success at the Australian Junior Open 2024 held at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre in Albert Park, Victoria.
Mahwish Ali, a 15-year-old squash star and the newest BARD fellow, has won many competitions over the years. She has collected 21 gold medals and numerous other titles, proving her talent and dedication to the sport.
Likewise, Mahnoor Ali, 11 years old and also backed by the BARD Foundation, is making a name for herself in the world of squash. She has earned 11 gold medals and notable wins such as the Asian Junior Gold Medal and Scottish Junior Open Gold Medal.
At the Australian Junior Open 2024, Mahnoor Ali shined in the Girls U-13 category, while Mahwish Ali demonstrated her skills in the Girls U-17 division.
Abdul Razak Dawood, head of the BARD Foundation, expressed how proud he is of these two young athletes. He emphasized how they serve as role models for young girls in Pakistan who want to excel in sports.
