Saudi Crown Prince Likely to Visit Pakistan this Month

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud is expected to make his first visit to Pakistan in five years sometime this month.

During his visit, he is likely to sign Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) for a $5 billion investment, though the exact dates of his visit are still being worked out.

This visit will mark the third meeting between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Saudi Crown Prince in just five weeks.

Currently, a high-level Saudi trade delegation, headed by deputy minister for Investment Ibrahim al-Mubarak, is in Pakistan. Their aim is to explore investment opportunities across various sectors and strengthen ties with local businesspeople.

Officials from Pakistan anticipate that the delegation’s visit could lead to investment commitments ranging from 10 to 15 billion US dollars. The delegation includes representatives from approximately 35 companies operating in various economic sectors.
