Russian President Vladimir Putin has begun his fifth term as Russia’s leader, taking the oath at a grand ceremony in the Andreyevsky Hall of the Grand Kremlin Palace. Placing his hand on Russia’s constitution, Putin promised to serve for another six years as president.
Despite some Western countries boycotting the ceremony due to concerns about the fairness of the election, Putin, aged 71, delivered a speech focusing on unity and determination to face challenges together.
In his speech, Putin expressed confidence in completing their plans and achieving success as a nation. This marks Putin’s fifth term as president, with his first swearing-in ceremony taking place back in May 2000, according to reports from foreign media sources.
